Did Not Run

I am really disappointed in myself.  I had three miles scheduled yesterday but we were busy in the morning and then it got hot in the afternoon, so I decided that I'd do it this morning.  I got up at 5:30am, got dressed, tied on my running shoes, strapped on my Garmin and headed out the door.  I instantly had goosebumps.  It was 42 degrees and there was a wind advisory.  I waited to get a signal on the Garmin, but it took so long that I finally decided it was a sign that running just wasn't going to happen today.  I was relieved because I was really dreading the three miles, but also disappointed in myself for taking the easy way out, especially when I had friends running the Lincoln Half and Lincoln Marathon this morning.  I couldn't do a measily three miles, but they were pushing out 13.1 miles and 26.2 miles.

*sigh*

I am far too hard on myself.  I need to learn that I don't have to be perfect to just be.  But that's all I'm thinking about - that my schedule has a "did not run" on it.  :/  Oh well.  If that's the only "did not run" I have on my schedule, I should be proud.  :)  See...positive thinking.  ;)

I ate pretty much everything in sight at work today.  No self control, whatsoever.  :/   I will tell you though, that I had an Oreo brownie with some vanilla ice cream on it and it was TO. DIE. FOR.  I regret pretty much everything I ate today, except that.  That...was worth it.  ;)  Alright, probably not, but it was pretty good.

Weigh in tomorrow is going to be awful, I can already tell.  But, I did it to myself and only I can change my ways, right?  Tomorrow is a new day and I'm ready to get back into it hard core.  :)

Kaiden, Bettis, Brandon, and Ben

I got to spend the morning laying around with all three boys this morning before they had to go to Sunday school and I had to go to work.  It was kind of nice.  For once, there was very little bickering and even though Ben isn't feeling the greatest, he managed to be all smiles this morning too.  I got a few pictures of all three boys and the dog.  I'm really lovin' these pictures.
